MunchPak Review - March

Emma's MunchPak arrived at the end of March. MunchPak is a highly customizable subscription box that basically sends a box of snacks from all over the world to your house as often as you'd like.  Emma has the medium box sent to her once a month which costs $13.95.

This was her third box and definitely contained the biggest variety.  This month the box came packed with Japanese newspaper which is different.

It contained -

Warheads Sour Twists - these are from the U.S.  Standard sour straws which are delicious.

Cadbury Shortcake Stack - from the U.K. Pretty much anything by Cadbury is amazing.  This is essentially a shortbread cookie coated with chocolate.

Starburst Jelly Beans

Arcoiris Marshmallow Cookies - these are from Mexico though you can buy them in some grocery stories that have a Mexican food section.  There basically a graham cracker type cookie topped with a big marshmallow

Minees Sandwich cookies in Strawberry cream - the package says this is a product from India

Banana Passa - looks like fruit leather and says it's dried banana.  It's from Brazil

de la Rosa Marzipan Peanut Candy - this is from Mexico

Jovy Tamaros Sabor Tamarindo Con Chile - This is from Mexico and is said to be Tamarind with Chile flavor.

Dan D Pak Cashews in Sweet Sesame - this is from Vietnam and looks pretty interesting.  It's cashew nuts coated with a sweet syrup and rolled in sesame seeds.

Snack 'n' Bites Rice Cracker Chips in Sea Salt - from Thailand.  I've had rice chips and have never been wowed by them before but I'm going to have to sneak one when she opens the bag.

Pulparindo - the package says this is a hot and salted tamarind pulp candy with real fruit. This is from Mexico and from the same company that the peanut marzipan can from.

Pelagomas Mango candy - another one from Mexico.  This looks like those sugared orange slices but this is supposed to be Mango flavored

Lance Hot & Spicy Peanuts - from the U.S.

Calbee Shrimp Chips - the picture on the bag looked like french fries.  Emma said they tasted exactly like shrimp but she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.  She likes shrimp and she likes chips but the 2 together are apparently kind of confusing.  These are from Japan.

Walker Chocolate Chip Shortbread cookies - From the U.K. The chocolate chip and shortbread together.  Of course they're amazing.

And finally the Pocky sticks that are in every box she's gotten so far.  This appears to be chocolate.  She's gotten the strawberry (which were good), the green tea (which were not good) and now what is most likely chocolate.  They're fun little cookie straws dipped into a flavored coating and are from Japan.

None of these came in full sized packages.  Most of the candy was individually wrapped pieces and the rest was in snack size bags.  However, it's always fun to try new things and very little of this is easily available. This is the 3rd MunchPak and we're still loving the day the box shows up in the mail!

    1. Oh you should! It's really fun. There's a cheaper/smaller box as well as a more expensive/box so you can pick how many snacks you want! There''s always a few pretty standard things and one or two really strange things which makes it pretty entertaining.
